This dress was created for beautiful Bride Ellen, who married David in a gorgeous beach ceremony. The design was inspired by the 1950s vintage bridal gown, for the bride who always wants to be in fashion regardless of the century…This gown oozes timeless elegance with white silk/satin and white sparkle tulle that contrast beautifully against the Ivory Australian French soft cotton laces, with scalloped edge.
The scalloped lace appliques creates a stunning effect on the v bodice/back, sleeves and on the hem of the skirt.
The dress features oh so cute cap sleeves/ hidden pockets, so you have no need for a handbag!
Dress has a half corset back with a hidden zip.
To complete the rockabilly look is the inbuilt petticoat made using soft powder net white tulle, which makes it perfect for the bride who wishes to be comfortable on her wedding day, but to still look amazing.
All our fabrics are designed for the Australian bride, which means we use the finest fabrics of silk/Satins, soft tulles and cotton laces which feel like luxury against the skin and breathe against the skin…. So our brides are comfortable whether their day be in the heat of the Australian summer or spring.  
Like with all our dresses Ellen customised her dress from start to finish, she picked her fabrics in person (I have hundreds of colours to choose from)
Like with all my brides’ laces, we custom created her Australian French Cotton Ivory Laces.
Bride Ellen received a sketch and photos and videos from start to finish and was able to approve each step of the design through the dressmaking process.
As well as the dress being customised to her individual 25 measurements, unlike a bridal store which only takes 3 measurements. That often results in extensive alterations!
