Meet the Bride Who This Dress Was Created For
This dress was created for beautiful bride Alex who wanted to pay homage to her Greek Heritage and incorporate Disney Princess and Anastacia (Cartoon Gold Princess Gown) into her wedding gown!
So Alex Wedding Dress is a merging of Russian, Disney and Green Princess Wedding Dress Vibes.
Alex is like a sister from another mother to me and so we worked over 1 year to bring her dream dress to life from sketch, her silks and tulles and hand beaded laces to life.
On a personal note Alex from the moment we became friends on the horse trail, basically my pony Mia decided Alex horse Niko was her horse boyfriend….so we spent many hours forming a friendship through our love of horses, all things country and through our shared values. I’m honoured to consider you family and you’re literally a sister from another mother. After all, as I say DNA is overrated!
You looked like a real-life Greek/Disney and Country Princess on your day and I can’t wait for your next chapter into motherhood to begin…. Here is to friendships, future laughs and thankyou for trusting me to design a dream dress for a Greek wedding no pressure lol.
Bride Alex received a sketch, photos and videos from start to finish and was able to approve each step of the design through the dressmaking process. Through my in person online design process. she picked her fabrics in person (I have hundreds of colours to choose from).
Like with all my brides Alex also customised her dress throughout the dress creation process, as I sent her photos and videos throughout and she was able to design her exact lace outline on her dream wedding dress.
As well as the wedding dress being customised to Alex individual 25 measurements, unlike a bridal store which only takes 3 measurements. That often results in extensive alterations!
That’s the A Bride To Be. Dare To Be Different, difference ……. we are a fully customised dress design experience.
This is particularly important for short brides like Alex, as if she had of bought a dress from a store she could have incurred over $1000 in alterations, due to the dress needing to be made to her height and lace having to being removed and re-added to the hem.
Yes brides that’s why we are different, we fully customise your dress to your preferred style and individual measurement and most important of all height!
